We tell our families we're pursuing adoption.
11/26/10
We (prayerfully) choose/believe we are called to adopt from Uganda.
11/30/10
We announce to the world we're adopting.
1/03/11
We submit our application to Adoption Advocates International.
1/07/11
We receive our acceptance letter into the Adoption Advocates International's Uganda Program!
1/22/11
Very unexpectedly, we have our FIRST home study visit.
1/23/11
We have our SECOND home study visit the very next day!
2/23/11
We receive our approved home study report.
2/28/11
We are officially on the waiting list for our little one!
3/04/11
We are officially certified in the state of Arizona to adopt!

We feel God leading us to be open to adopting siblings or 2 unrelated children. We officially get on the waiting list for our little one(S)!
4/07/11
We first learn about little H and baby K.
4/08/11
We begin the process of updating our home study that approves us to adopt a child with special needs.
5/13/11
We receive our approval from USCIS to bring orphans from Uganda home to the U.S.!
5/17/11
We receive the official referral for little H and baby K!
6/13/11
We receive our updated USCIS approval.
6/22/11
We find out that H is older than they originally thought and we begin the process of updating our home study/USCIS approval for a third time.
7/06/11
We file another updated I-600A.
7/29/11
We receive our third and final updated USCIS approval.
8/19/11
We have our final fundraiser and our adoption is officially FULLY FUNDED!!
8/22/11
We submit our dossier.

i know you are probably swamped in mommyhood stuff but if you have a minute, i would so appreciate it!
we are traveling to uganda to get our baby so i am trying to set up a password protected blog on wordpress.com and not having any luck. i am so curious how you set yours up. help?
